Yeah I am working with a similar project in trying to visualize the color information from an image or series of images. Heightmaps dont work as they are reading the gayscale values of an image, and are therefore looking at brightness of a pixel. I was interested more in the color values from an image. What did you end up producing from the sample infrared you posted? Thanks in advance.
